First art of the year is always special. The first of anything is special but I always feel excitement and anticipation to perform the first stroke of the digital pen in the new year. And this year was no different, so let me introduce my first art piece for 2023, Beauty Borg in Love.
It wasn't supposed to happen. She was built with no emotion. No one knows how she fell for her human handler. But she did. Now she must be shipped off to another galaxy. According to plan. Now she must experience her first heartbreak, like her human counterparts. Sucks to be her.
And enjoy this quick slideshow of all my 'first' artworks for each year from the beginning of my art journey in 2018. I can see how I have evolved over the years, yet staying true to the Sketchie essence. I can also see how I've progressed from someone who was just having a good time with the digital implements to someone who is in serious pursuit. I can only get better from here.
