'MODERN LOVE' ©2020
Modern Love is a piece of my '2020 Vision' series. With the Covid-19 pandemic, life as we knew it in 2020 felt as surreal as a Dali artscape. I thought of having a little fun with the idea of love during a pandemic, where one can't be too careful. A mix of retro charm and my fascination with gas mask imagery.

'DISPOSABLE' ©2023
In these modern times, it seems we live in a disposable society. It seems not much in this life holds a value high enough to render it non-disposable, non-discardable, loved forever.
'TIGER LILY' ©2018
What a colorful character is Tiger Lily. Vivid, with tropical foliage and multiple textures, she may not adhere to traditional beauty standards, but she's comfortable in her own skin and individuality.

'HEART ON A STRING' ©2024
Created around the St. Valetine holiday, Heart on a String conveys a very simple message: whether you dangle your heart on a string like a carrot for others to foolishly pursue, or lock it away in a cage for safekeeping, set that heart free to love in the proper way.

'BAY OF LIGHT' ©2019
This multi-layered gem is meant to convey a sense of peace and tranquility with its texture, color and light play. Many who have seen this piece expressed they would like to be there, traversing that bay. Me too, dear ones, me too

'AN IGNOMNIOUS FUTURE' ©2022
There goes that Sketchie Beast again! Pixel painting a dismal future. 'What is it based on?' people ask. On the behavior of people today. Enough said.
'BEAUTY BORG IN LOVE' ©2023
It should not have happened. She was built with no emotion. No one quite knows how she fell in love with her human handler. But she did. Now she must be shipped off to another galaxy. According to plan. Now she must experience heartbreak, like her human counterparts. Sucks to be her.

'CITY OF FALLEN ANGELS' ©2021
This piece is dedicated to my home, The City of Angels. But I believe Los Angeles has the weirdest dark energy of any big city on the planet, so City of Fallen Angels is more apt. This is one of my most prolonged creations to date, taking three weeks to complete the staggering details, teaching me much-needed patience.

'OVER THE RAINBOW'S END (SHE'LL FLY)' ©2022
I love birds and feature many representations of them in my artworks. I call them God's noble creatures as He gave them the ability to spread their wings and fly above the horrors of this world.
'A CAT, A CROW AND BANJOE' ©2021
No, the name of the instrument is not misspelled. Banjoe is the name of the person playing the banjo. I know, corny, but it's my art, I can title it what I want. This piece features three things I love; cats, crows and banjos, expressed with retro charm and forthright color.
